Terms & Conditions — TP-7 Manager

1. Product

TP-7 Manager is a macOS desktop application for managing recordings from the Teenage Engineering TP-7 field recorder. It is developed and sold by Josh Lesser.

2. License

Purchasing TP-7 Manager Pro grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Pro features of the application on up to three (3) Macs that you own or control. The free tier may be used without purchase.

3. Payment & Refunds

Pro licenses are sold as a one-time purchase through Lemon Squeezy. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the Merchant of Record. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, by contacting joshualexanderlesser@gmail.com. After 14 days, refunds are issued at our discretion.

4. Delivery

After purchase, you will receive a license key via email. Enter this key in the app's Settings to activate Pro features. The application itself is available as a free download from our website.

5. Third-Party Services

Certain Pro features (cloud transcription, AI categorization, Notion sync) require your own API keys from third-party providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Notion). We do not provide these API keys. Usage of third-party APIs is subject to their respective terms and pricing. We are not responsible for charges incurred through your use of third-party APIs.

6. Data & Privacy

TP-7 Manager does not collect personal data, analytics, or telemetry. All recordings and transcripts are stored locally on your Mac. API keys are stored in the macOS Keychain. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. No Warranty

TP-7 Manager is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee compatibility with future macOS versions, Teenage Engineering firmware updates, or third-party API changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of TP-7 Manager, including but not limited to data loss, recording corruption, or costs incurred through third-party API usage.

9. Updates

A Pro license includes free updates for the current major version (1.x). Future major versions may require a separate purchase.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the app's release notes and posted on our website.
